This video was very informative and really gave me some insight of the western and country music. I would have never thought of seeing a black woman singing country. When I heard the black women singing country I was astounded and it sounded really good.
The video was very interesting and i received alot of new information that i never thought was going to happen. Thanks for another great video.
Great Video Dunmore!!! I never would have thought that African American girls would sing country music.
Great Video! Our society is so used to the mindset of African American females singing gospel or r&b. It’s not common to see black females singing country and western music. This definitely out shined any stereotype about African American singers! #Enlightenment
I really enjoyed this segment, it is really something that is exceptional. We definitely need more videos that show the various talents of African Americans.
Great video! Very inspiring and enlightening. =]
I think it is great that our African American songstresses are finally being recognized for all the genres they sing in!
This video is very inspiring and makes me think that you can do anything, and that your color should not stop from doing whatever positive thing you want.
This was a nice video. I didn’t think I would ever see an African American female sing country music. It was nice to see something different and out of the norm.
Very interesting!
Nice video! i’ve never heard of a African American country singer.Very interesting!
Pulsebeat.tv is a fascinating website and with all the different topics and different point of views that are shared through the website help everybody understand different points being made by each individual. this video was a great one, just like the ones proceeding it. Stereotypes are definitely thrown out the window with African american singers like this in the world.
Nice video! Similar to videos in the past, this one did a wonderful job of teaching and enlightening me. This video was very interesting and informative. Keep up the good work.
Great video!
If I was to turn off the video and only listen to the songs, i would not assume that these songs were sung by African American women. I’m too stuck to the stereotype that country is only sung by caucasian people. I guess i need to broaden my musical view because these songs are fantastic. People need to stop being so narrowsighted and need to listen to more things like this.
Great Video! This shows how creative African American people can be. It is wonderful to see black females singing this type of music and being so good at it. It is a great motivation for young people to do anything they put their minds to.
I found this video very interesting it contradicts many stereotypes put on African-Americans and gave me great insight on country music
I really enjoyed watching this video. I didnt even know that there were that many african american country singers that are women. Anyways the video was really interesting overall.
It’s not a surprise that women of African American ethnicity is a country singer or enjoys that. I am glad that you took the time to express that and open the eyes to people who were ignorant to this criteria. Thankyou for the insight on the WOMEN ROCK movement. I’m looking forward to seeing Joi from Lucy Pearl.
I love the video it was inspiring and breath taking to see African Americans singing country. I loved it.!!! It just shows how far we come.
This was a very interesting video. I am very proud that there are African Americans who do stuff out how their comfort zone or different from what we are used to.
Women ROCK! I am very proud to see so many African- American women accomplishing so much in today’s society. It does not come as a surprise that there are African-American women singing country music. To be honest about it I am very proud of these women! This inspires me because it is encouraging me to follo my dreams regardless of my skin color.
All you can say is, GREAT.
Great Video! Our society is so used to the mindset of African American females singing gospel or r&b. It’s not common to see black females singing country and western music. This definitely out shined any stereotype about African American singers!
This is a wonderful videos! So much information about our african american women and them making history. You wouldnt even believe how many black women sings country/western music.
Great Video , I would have never thought that African American girls would sing other music besides R&B and gospel . This is a great diffusion of culture.
Great segment! I would have never thought that African American girls would cross over into country instead of the normal R&B or gospel. This actually removed all stereotypes that were posed against African American girls. This is a great diffusion of culture but instead of spreading African culture, country culture is being diffused into the African culture. I enjoyed this.
This is nice to see that African Amercians are so versitile in order to do country music as well. It’s mainly only those country guy and girl singer who are Caucasian. For them to be successful is even bigger some even had hits, but it’s always nice to see an African American succeed in an area that you would never expect.
This is very serious to me because black have many good qualities. People portray black people as one way but look at this.
leslie took the words right out of my mouth i was blown away by the marvelousesounds of country from the ldy of african american decent
I enjoyed the show!! Very informative and complete! Keep it up!
I WAS BLOWN AWAY BY THIS SHOW!
I really enjoyed this video. I really did not know anything about African American country western singers or that they were so popular. I appreciate all music but I may just have a reason to actually listen to it now.
I really liked this video, because it talks about how people never really notice the black female country singers, when they should be noticed to.
Great Video. I didnt know about African American western singers and their fame. Just by watching this video I might be interesting in listening to country music more often by these artist to show support.
I kind of figured some black women sang Country, but I never knew they sounded this good!!.. That song “Country Girl”, I love it!!.. Only because it sounds nice when the black woman sings it.. NO RACISM INTENDED. I can just relate to it more, and it sounds better to me.. (MY OPINION.. RESPECT IT.)
thank you
Gave lots of thoughts to myself
She’s a beautiful lady with a lot of talent. She’s a breath of fresh air for the African American community. She is not the typical R&B or hiphop artist.
It’s not very often an African American person sings country (no racism intended) I think it’s beautiful because it destroys various stereotypes.
